We’re seeking a skilled Pressman to join our production team! This position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient setup, operation, and maintenance of high-speed printing presses. As a Pressman, you’ll be responsible for producing top-quality printed materials while maintaining productivity and safety standards.
Schedule: 3rd shift, Monday – Friday (10:00PM – 6:00AM)
Pay Rate: 25.00/29.00hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Competently perform all lower-level pressman duties as business needs dictate.
- Set up and operate the front ends of high-speed presses, ensuring all work meets quality and productivity standards.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and general repairs on high-speed presses and other pressroom equipment.
- Monitor print quality and take corrective action to maintain specifications.
- Train and mentor lower-level pressroom employees as assigned.
- Support and actively participate in Continuous Improvement, Safety, Quality, and Environmental programs.
- Perform other appropriate tasks within the plant as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pressman (Level 2 or equivalent experience preferred).
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment troubleshooting and repairs.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Reliable attendance and consistent performance record.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
