Join Our Team as a Paraprofessional / Teacher’s Assistant!
Location: Portland, Higganum, Killingworth, and Bristol, CT
Experience: No prior experience needed
Shift:
- 1st shift: 8:00AM – 3:00PM, Monday to Friday (No summer shutdown)
Hourly Pay: $18.00/hr
Responsibilities:
- Support Special Education Teachers in the classroom
- Prepare lessons and assist in teaching students
- Provide direct support to students
- Enforce class and school rules to promote positive behavior
- Reinforce lessons through one-on-one or small group reviews
- Assist with behavior management and track student behavior
- Prepare classroom materials as needed
Preferably someone who’s worked with kids or elders in the past
Walk-Ins are welcome anytime from 8:30AM – 3:00PM (M-F)
