Join Our Team as a Paraprofessional / Teacher’s Assistant!

Location: Avon, CT

Experience: No prior experience needed / Driver’s License for 3 years is required.

Shift:

• 1st shift: 8:00AM – 3:00PM, Monday to Friday (No summer shutdown)

Hourly Pay: $18.00/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Support Special Education Teachers in the classroom
• Prepare lessons and assist in teaching students
• Provide direct support to students
• Enforce class and school rules to promote positive behavior
• Reinforce lessons through one-on-one or small group reviews
• Assist with behavior management and track student behavior
• Prepare classroom materials as needed

Preferably someone who’s worked with kids or elders in the past

Walk-Ins are welcome anytime from 8:30AM – 3:00PM (M-F)
