Maintenance Worker

Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in keeping spaces clean, safe, and running smoothly? Our client in North Haven, CT is looking for a positive, dependable individual to join their team as an Entry-Level Maintenance Worker!

Position Overview:
In this role, you’ll help with a variety of basic maintenance tasks that keep the buildings and grounds in great shape. From small repairs to general upkeep, every day brings something different—and your work will make a real difference.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and masonry work
• Handle general cleaning, including bathrooms, vacuuming, mopping, and outdoor upkeep
• Maintain and repair maintenance tools and equipment
• Remove snow when needed
• Provide your own tools
• Must get and keep a Public Service Driver’s License
• Keep tools and equipment secure and out of reach of youth
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, and general repairs
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and perform physical labor
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
