Maintenance Worker

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry-Level Maintenance Technician to join our client in Southington, CT. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of machines and equipment to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.

This is a great opportunity for someone with basic mechanical knowledge who is looking to grow their career in industrial maintenance.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machines, including conveyors, motors, pumps, and other equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to identify problems and make necessary repairs.
• Assist in preventive maintenance procedures, such as lubricating and cleaning machine parts.
• Replace worn or damaged parts, including belts, gears, and bearings.
• Help with machine setups, adjustments, and calibrations.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and part replacements in the maintenance management system.
• Work closely with senior maintenance staff to develop and improve maintenance processes.
• Assist in machine overhauls or system upgrades as required.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the field of industrial maintenance.
