Join our team as a Patient Care Associate / Direct Support Professional!
Location: Throughout Connecticut
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Available Shifts:
- 2nd Shift- Weekend availability is required
- Full‑time (with flexible scheduling based on operational needs)
Job Responsibilities:
- Stay Alert & Present: Monitor assigned residents at all times. In one-on-one situations, remain close and responsive until the client is safely supported or assistance arrives.
- Ensure Safety: Use verbal de-escalation techniques and CPI strategies to prevent crises and promote a calm environment.
- Facilitate Engagement: Lead or assist with group sessions, daily activities, and special events—bringing enthusiasm to enrich the experience.
- Support Connection: Facilitate daily phone calls between clients and their support systems to help maintain vital connections.
- Communicate with Care Teams: Share observations, updates, and concerns with house or pod treatment teams to coordinate client care.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license is a must
- Must be reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Patience and strong work ethic are essential
