Quality Technician

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team in East Longmeadow, MA. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the highest quality standards across all production areas, from incoming materials to final assembly and finished goods.

Schedule: 2nd shift, Monday – Friday (2:30PM – 11:00PM)

Pay Rate: 18.00/22.00hr

Responsibilities:

• Perform visual and/or mechanical inspections of products and processes.
• Conduct In-Process, Final Assembly, and Incoming inspections, accurately recording data in specified documents or electronic databases.
• Utilize sampling plans to select proper sample sizes for inspection.
• Use measuring instruments, fixtures, and gauges to verify product quality.
• Perform and document Finished Goods Warehouse audits as required.
• Be knowledgeable in Q-S.A.M. work instructions and participate in QSAM audit processes.
• Process and manage audit data and DMRs electronically, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 ISIR Corrective Action Systems.
• Perform all aspects of the FEP Samples Assembly process.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Department.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a quality inspection or quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of inspection procedures, defect tracking, and data documentation.
• Skilled in the use of inspection and measuring tools, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and corrective action systems preferred.
• Proficient in computer use and electronic data entry.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
